On participation in the 2026 Colloquium on International Law, organized by the Asian Academy of International Law

On July 3, 2026 Acting Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in the Hong Kong SAR Darya Bohdan took part in the 2026 Colloquium on International Law, organized by the Asian Academy of International Law.
The theme of the event was «Creating New Frontiers: Law, Commerce, and Order in Outer Space».

Speakers at the conference included:
 — Secretary for Justice of the Hong Kong Government Paul Lam;
 — Deputy Commissioner of China’s Foreign Ministry in the Hong Kong SAE Zhang Changwei;
 — Head of the Chief Executive’s Policy Unit Stephen Wong;
 — Secretary-General of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization Kamalinne Pinitpuvadol;
 — Secretary-General of the International Organization for Mediation Teresa Cheng;
 — Director of the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs Aarti Holla-Maini;
 — Chairman of the Asian Academy of International Law Antony Neoh;
and representatives from the commercial and academic sectors.

Forum participants discussed key issues regarding the use of Hong Kong’s advantages to foster the development of the region's space industry, the commercialization of space activities, and the practical application of space technologies in everyday life, as well as space-related dispute resolution options.
