On the road-show of the China-Belarus Industrial Park «Great Stone» in Hong Kong
29.04.2026On 28 April 2026 as part of the road-show for the China-Belarus Industrial Park «Great Stone» in the Greater Bay Area a forum entitled «Nexus of Growth: Connecting GBA & EAEU’s emerging markets via Great Stone Industrial Park» took place in Hong Kong.
The event was organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in the Hong Kong SAR, the State Institution «Administration of the China-Belarus Industrial Park «Great Stone», the Industrial Park Development Company, «China Merchants Group» and «SINOMACH».
Darya Bohdan, Acting Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in the Hong Kong SAR; Nicholas Ho, Commissioner for Belt and Road of the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government; Tatyana Kharlap, Head of the Administration of the China-Belarus Industrial Park «Great Stone»; Zhang Yu, General Director of Department of Operation Management of «SINOMACH» and Wang Shiyun, General Manager Overseas Business, International Cooperation Department of «China Merchants Group» have opened the event with delivery of welcoming remarks.
As part of the formal signing ceremony of four official documents, an agreement was signed regarding the company’s residency in the Park, alongside a project to establish the China-Belarus International Centre for Comprehensive Prevention and Treatment of Chronic Diseases, a cooperation agreement with the Hong Kong Trade and Economic Association; a protocol of intent to become a resident of the Park with «Ricomm», a company specializing in the manufacture of electronic and mobile gadgets; and an agreement on the opening of a representative office in Belarus for the Hong Kong alliance of business companies «Greater Eastern Europe Business Alliance».
Representatives of «Great Stone» and its shareholder companies provided detailed information on the legal framework and benefits of conducting economic activity in the Park.
Around 200 forum participants, representing small, medium and large enterprises from China (both the Mainland and the Hong Kong SAR), as well as chambers of commerce from China, Hong Kong, the Philippines, were able to directly discuss with the event’s speakers topical issues of their interest.
