On participation in the Asian Financial Forum

On January 26-27, 2026 the Belarusian delegation participated in the 19th Asian Financial Forum. The Asian Financial Forum (AFF) is a leading regional platform bringing together financial and investment industry leaders from official and business circles to discuss and exchange views on the global economy, development trends from an Asian perspective, and showcase the most promising investment projects from various regions.

This year, the event in Hong Kong brought together over 3,600 experts and investors from 60 countries and regions, including China, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, the UK, Luxembourg, ASEAN countries, and others.

For the first time, with the assistance of the Consulate General a country booth at the Global Investment Zone held as part of the AFF was organized, promoting the National Agency of Investment and Privatization and the China-Belarus Industrial Park «Great Stone».

During the forum, presentations and negotiations were held with investment, R&D, technical, and manufacturing companies interested in developing perspective projects.

Besides the work at the forum, the Delegation held negotiations with Hong Kong government agencies such as the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES) and investment agency InvestHK, responsible for attracting investment and companies, including from abroad, as well as promoting the interests of local investors in promising markets worldwide.

The parties discussed cooperation, exchange of experience, and joint plans for the near future.
