On presentation at the Belt and Road Youth Summit

On 15 December 2025, Darya Bohdan, Vice-Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in the Hong Kong SAR, delivered the speech at the 4th Belt and Road Youth Summit.

Ling Cheung Cheng, President of the Belt and Road General Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, opened the international event with a welcome speech. In turn, Hua You, Deputy Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Hong Kong SAR, delivered a keynote speech. The Summit was also organised by the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association.

The Guests of Honour at the event were Teresa Cheng Yeuk Wah, Secretary-General of the International Organisation for Mediation, and Alice Mak, Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR.

The four thematic sub-sessions of the summit were devoted to digital development, the green economy, international mediation and the role of young people in the Belt and Road initiatives.

Darya Bohdan delivered a presentation entitled “Participation of the Republic of Belarus as a Key Supporter of BRI in Development of International Mediation”. In her speech, the diplomat briefed the Summit participants about the Great Stone Industrial Park, which is a cluster for the implementation of Belt and Road projects in the country, national regulation of mediation and the state’s participation in international treaties on this subject.
