On ratification of the Convention on the Establishment of the International Organization for Mediation by the Republic of Belarus
24.12.2025The Republic of Belarus has ratified the Convention on the Establishment of the International Organization for Mediation.
The corresponding law was signed by the Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko on December 23, 2025.
The Belarusian side, represented by experts from the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, actively participated in all 5 rounds of consultations and ensured the preparation of the Russian-language text of the treaty.
On May 30, Belarus was among the first 33 founding countries to sign the Convention.
The Inauguration Ceremony of the opening of the Organization's office, headquartered in Hong Kong, took place on October 20, 2025. Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and the Consulate General of Belarus in Hong Kong took part in the ceremony.
