On participation in the Seminar on Belt and Road Capacity Building Platforms

On 22 April 2026 Acting Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in the Hong Kong SAR Darya Bohdan took part in a Seminar on Belt and Road Capacity Building Platforms.

The event was organised by the Belt and Road Office of the Hong Kong SAR Government, with participants including representatives of accredited consulates-general and chambers of commerce of foreign countries in Hong Kong, in order to introduce capacity-building opportunities in Hong Kong and explore collaboration opportunities.

In his speech, the Commissioner for Belt and Road Mr Nicholas Ho highlighted that the aim of cooperation between the parties within the platforms is “to build the skills, standards, and networks required to turn development goals into delivery – strengthening resilient economies, effective institutions, and sustainable development”.

During the speeches and at the organised exhibition, guests were able to learn about the activities and potential projects for enhancing cooperation through the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy, the Hong Kong Product Council, the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the International Organisation for Mediation (headquartered in Hong Kong), the Hong Kong International Legal Talents Training Academy, the Hong Kong Science Park and others.
