On mini-forums on investment potential of Belarus and the China-Belarus Industrial Park «Great Stone»

On January 28, mini-forums dedicated to the investment potential of Belarus and the China-Belarus Industrial Park «Great Stone» were held in the Hong Kong SAR and Shenzhen.

In Hong Kong, the National Agency of Investment and Privatization together with the Greater Eastern European Business Alliance and the Consulate General, organized a forum on investment prospects in Belarus, «Emerging Europe: Belarus Forthcoming Investment Prospective», for companies and business associations in the fields of high and green technologies, robotics.

In welcoming remarks, Consul General Ms Tatyana Kharlap emphasized the importance of developing cooperation between the business communities of Belarus and the Hong Kong SAR, noting prospects for deepening of collaboration.

The event presented the investment potential of Belarus and the Industrial Park, and showcased technology projects from Hong Kong and Macao interested in entering the Belarusian market.

In Shenzhen, Belarusian side together with the Hong Kong Federation of Innovative Technologies and Manufacturing Industries, held the «Belarus Business Opportunity Forum» for manufacturers in the mechanical engineering, machine tool manufacturing, electronics, and new materials sectors from the Greater Bay Area.

Both events brought together about 100 companies, and resulted in talks with the leadership of Hong Kong business associations and B2B discussions with company representatives on opportunities for cooperation and the creation of joint ventures in Belarus.
